Celebrate whimsy at the 9th Cinballera Salon of 2026, Songs of Fairytales! Join us on the 3rd Monday of the month, November 16, at 7 PM at the Villa Montezuma, 1925 K Street, San Diego.

Writers around the world have long expressed their flights of fancy through whimsical, dreadful, and delightful stories about the supernatural. Stories about fairies, elves, goblins, dwarves, and all manner of magical creatures have inspired countless operas, folk songs, and art songs. This enchanting Salon will feature fairytales and magical music galore!

In keeping with the Villa's gracious history, we encourage our guests to dress up for the evening! Gentlemen, dust off your favorite suit and tie, and ladies, here's a chance to wear that dress and hat you've been saving! For November, wear shades of light green, pale pink, or anything that feels magical.
