Join us at the Villa Montezuma on October 21 for an original opera murder mystery!

Death stalks the Villa at the 8th Cinballera Salon of 2026, Death Hits High C! Join us on the 3rd Monday of the month, October 19, at 7 PM at the Villa Montezuma, 1925 K Street, San Diego.

Instead of an opera night, October's Salon will be an operatic murder mystery! There'll be costumes, characters, disguises, laughs, chills, and thrills as the audience tries to figure out whodunit. In this Cinballera original show, you'll follow a series of twists, turns, and trills to guess who killed the tenor!

In keeping with the Villa's gracious history, we encourage our guests to dress up for the evening! Gentlemen, dust off your favorite suit and tie, and ladies, here's a chance to wear that dress and hat you've been saving! The audience will be part of the story, so wear your best Victorian/gothic garb if you want to take part!

This soiree at San Diego's spookiest house will be to die for!
